What People Are Saying About Us
- Argan Oil Hair Mask Review
I am a big fan of Argan Oil hair treatments so I have tried several different masks now and this one is definitely one of my favorites! After I had my son, my hair was a dry, brittle, frizzy mess. I first started using the Argan Oils and noticed drastic improvements but sometimes it was difficult to get the oil evenly distributed throughout my long hair so that is when I started researching and trying out different masks (which are basically a conditioner) and shampoos. This one really stands out because it is all natural with vitamin-rich, simple ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Argan Oil, Vitamin E, Rosehip Seed Oil, Vitamin B5, Cilantro Extract, Wild Geranium Extract, Horsetail Extract, Shatavari Extract, Alfalfa Extract and Ginger Extract. I love the fact that this is all-natural so I don't have to worry about exposing my hair and scalp to chemicals or sulfates. The Wild Geranium Extract gives it a lovely floral scent, which does actually stick with your hair even after rinsing. Personally, I love the smell, but if you are sensitive or just not a fan of scented products, you may want to skip this one. This mask worked extremely well for my long hair. It is thick so it is easy to apply and it washes out easily. It makes my hair feel super soft, completely eliminates the frizz and my hair is also so much easier to manage when I use this mask. I use it in place of a regular conditioner, and I honestly think that it works so much better! The price does seem a bit high when you can buy a bottle of regular conditioner from the store for $3-5, but I have never had as good of results with anything I have ever bought at the store, even when I have tried the more expensive commercial conditioners. A little bit of this mask also goes a very long way so one jar should last me at least a few months, even with my long hair.
- Vitamin C Serum Review
Pros: +Made in the US +Powerful, proven vitamin C derivative L Ascorbic acid +No breakouts, clogged pores, redness, or synthetic fragrance +Improves discolorations +Satisfaction guarantee Cons: -Dropper Aria Starr vitamin c serum is effective. This is one of the only serums that's lightened the dark splotches on the side of my mouth. It doesn’t have an abrasive and sour feel like cheaper vitamin C products, which leave my skin looking red and almost sunburned. Considering how well it works, the price is reasonable. Also this particular C derivative, L Ascorbic acid, is the only one that's been clinically proven to improve fine lines, age spots and hyperpigmentation. I wish Aria Starr had chosen to use the same pump they use for their super retinol serum, instead of the dropper applicator. Although as far as droppers go, this one's as good as any
- Coconut Milk Body Scrub Review
I love this body scrub! I have tried several things from the Aria Starr Beauty line of products and I have been happy with everything I have gotten from them. Their products are great quality and are very effective. I love how this body scrub smells. I feel like I'm taking a shower in coconut milk or a pina colada. The scrub has a sugary texture and I love how well it exfoliates my skin. I love to use it especially on my elbows and feet and other dry spots on my skin. After using the scrub, my skin feels so hydrated and moisturized. I love using products that are all natural. They seem to help my skin a million times better than the ones that contain a lot of chemicals. I love that it contains Sweet Coconut Milk, Sea Salt, Almond Oil, Safflower Oil, Sunflower Oil ,Grape Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil,Dead Sea Salt, and Vitamin E. I feel like I am pampering myself and nurturing my skin at the same time.
- Castor Oil Review
There are so many wonderful things to say about this product but before I do I must counter what some other reviewers have said and warn, if you have acne, please, do not use this on your face. I practice Dermatology and Castor Oil very closely mimics the body's sebaceous gland's oil (which is why it's so good for the rest of your body), but it is overactive sebaceous glands that cause acne. You risk causing cystic acne if you put Castor Oil on top of acne. That being said, this is a very pure, cold pressed Castor Oil that impressed me very much. It adhered very well to the scalp and helped treat cradle cap in an infant I tried it on as well as dandruff in a teenager I used it on. I used it on my own eyebrows to get a thick glossy look, eyelashes in place of mascara and got a dark, shiny appearance and on the ends of my hair where in completely eliminated my split ends. I also added it to my bottle of hair conditioner to get some extra glossiness. Just make sure to shake the bottle every time before use. On my body I used it as a general moisturizer and mixed it in a bowl with some salt to make a good salt scrub for my heels. It also works well as a replacement for shaving cream on my legs and elsewhere. It's really great for applying to dry feet then putting on thick socks before going to bed for a deep moisturizing treatment. The best thing is that no matter where you use it you only need the tiniest drop and the bottle is very large so I can't imagine I will need to buy another one for many months. The list of uses could go on for many paragraphs, mainly due to it's purity because it gets absorbed so easily and cleanly.
- Anti Acne Serum Review
I wasn't planning on seeing results from this serum over night. Seriously, I wasn't. I followed the directions and washed my face, then applied the serum to the weird hormonal acne on my chin. (Seriously, I'm 31. My skin is worse now than it was when I was 15!)The scent reminds me of a shot of lemon vodka - sort of a burning, alcohol citrus scent. It isn't horrible but it did bring back some memories of poor decisions and lemon drops from college. It tingled a little bit after application but didn't burn, itch, feel uncomfortable or tight in any way. I waited until the product was dry and then applied my normal evening moisturizer. When I got up this morning, the various zits on my face were dried up! My skin was a bit flaky at application points but otherwise all that remained was some slight discoloration of my pale, easily marked skin.I got this product at a discount for my review, but opinions are genuinely all my own! Note my pic - in the 'after' from this morning I do have blush, mascara and lip color on but I'm not wearing any concealer.
- Dead Sea Mud Mask Review
Dead Sea mud masks can be a hit-or-miss purchase for those who are looking for healthier, clearer skin. If you are currently taking medications, tan regularly, or recently had a waxing procedure, chances are your skin will adversely react to a facial that will deep clean your pores. Having that in mind, be sure to have a 78-hour waiting period before trying out a product like this.To begin, I make sure to first wipe off all my makeup and exfoliate my face with a gentle scrub to open up my pores and relax my skin. Depending on the your skin type, if you do not exfoliate, any excess oil you have will be released after a facial. This usually results in a breakout, so forgoing this step puts yourself in a vulnerable position for unwanted pimples!Aria Starr's mud mask is very gentle on your skin and while drying, it does not tighten to an extreme (where you feel like you cannot move your face). This is perfect for those with sensitive skin, and the fragrance is delightful and light. The amount to apply on your face will vary, but I usually use around 3 to 4 quarter-sized scoops. My results have been an absolute dream-- I cannot emphasize this enough when I say it's my new favorite beauty product. I finish by moisturizing my skin with Argan Oil (which Aria Starr also sells), and it is the perfect finish to a facial (a face cream will work, if you prefer). I let that absorb so my skin stays hydrated, and I'm good to go for the day! I have noticed a decrease in blemishes, and their size is also significantly smaller.I love this mud mask, and I received it as a sample to review. I am definitely going to be ordering more in the future-- definitely a miracle product. In the picture I provide, I have the mud mask dry (after about 20 minutes). Because I used the product for over a week, there is less in the container but it is full to the TOP when it arrives.
- Argan Oil Review
This stuff is great! When I was younger I could never use lotions on my face because they would cause to me break out. So my skin was never moisturized for years. Now that i'm in my 40's I have fine lines around my eyes, crows feet and smile lines around my mouth. My face and hands look dry and unhealthy. I saw this on Amazon while I was looking for facial care. It got good reviews and I'm VERY happy with it. It is an oil but since my face isn't oily now it doesn't cause a break out. My lips have been a little cracked from my lipstick and this is gone with one overnight use. I use it before I put on my lipstick and it adds a bit of shine and doesn't cause the lipstick to bleed. I also tried on my chest for those fine lines I guess from laying on your side at night. Totally smooth and almost gone after 2 nights. It hasn't helped for the wrinkles around my eyes yet. Not sure if it will but the smile lines are not as deep and A LOT less noticeable. I'm very impressed with how an oil can improve the look of my skin. This will definitely be part of my morning and night routine. I just take the dropper and slide it on different parts of my face, rub it in and rub my hands together to soften them too. Try it. I'm sure you'll be impressed. If you're not happy with it pass it along. It will last a long time and I'm sure someone will see good results.
- Retinol Serum Review
I used this serum for about 6 weeks and saw a DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT in my skin over that time. I'll be buying some more. My skin is softer, less oily, and my pores aren't as large/noticeable. I used it twice daily--once in the morning, after cleansing my face, I'd apply this and let it dry. Afterwards, I apply my makeup primer and makeup. At night, I rinse my make-up off and re-apply a dime-sized amount to my forehead, cheeks, and chin.My skin is no longer blotchy and the darkness and creases underneath my eyes has REALLY diminished over the past 6 weeks. My photos of before and after show the difference. The after photo was taken with flash which is why my eyes (Iris) and skin appears to be a bit lighter, but you can see the improved texture overall.
